by Rev. Robin L. Zucker

Now, in closing I speak to Faith and say:

Faith, in this very room, there is enough love and joy for all of us, because of the simple but enduring gifts youíve brought into so many lives. And, in speaking this closing affirmation by the Rev Edward Searl, my voice resonates with your voices, and especially with the voices of Jeff and Marilyn:

My little one, my dear one, my love
You will be with me forever;
In the thin sunlight and long shadows
Of a clear winterís day;
In the dawn excitement of birds
Sounding in early spring;
In the rustle of heavy-leafed trees
In a midsummerís night;
In the rich aroma and bright colors
Of a warm autumn day.
All that is excellent,
Brushed by Lifeís
Brightness and shadow,
Will remind me of you.
My little one, my dear one, my love.
You will be beat with my heart,
See through my eyes,
Hear with my ears,
Feel on my skin.
Because you soul is mingled with my soul,
My little one, my dear one, my love.

Rest in peace, dear little one.
